# "The bucket is in a different region"

The bucket exists, but in a different region from the one in Offloft's settings. Your provider returned `AuthorizationHeaderMalformed`, `PermanentRedirect` or `IllegalLocationConstraintException`. Open **Settings → Connection**, choose the region the bucket was created in, then test again. A bucket's region can't be changed.

To find it, open the bucket in your provider's dashboard. Its region is shown with the bucket. Region names look like `eu-west-1` or `nyc3`, depending on the provider.
