How Offloft works with DigitalOcean Spaces
Each file is uploaded, then checked in your DigitalOcean Spaces bucket. Only after that does your site load it from the cloud. If a check fails, your site keeps using the local copy.
Setup in short
- Create a Spaces bucket in the region closest to your visitors.
- Create a Limited Access key with Read/Write/Delete on it.
- Copy the key into Offloft and enter the region.
- Run the connection test and the delivery check. Turn on the CDN if you want it.

Do I need to make my bucket public?
No. Offloft marks each file it uploads as public. Keep File Listing on Restricted.
Should I turn on the CDN?
You can, in the bucket settings. Enter its address in Offloft and run the delivery check again.
What happens to files other tools uploaded?
They stay private until you mark them public in the control panel.
