Install Offloft

To install Offloft, download the zip from our download page. Then go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin in your WordPress admin, choose the file, and click Install Now and Activate. Offloft needs WordPress 6.5 or later and PHP 8.1 or later with the cURL extension.

From a zip file

  1. Download the zip from the download page.
  2. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and choose the file.
  3. Click Install Now, then Activate.
  4. Open Offloft in the admin menu. The setup wizard starts there.

What happens next

Nothing changes for your visitors yet. Your media keeps loading from your server until you've connected storage and both tests pass. Continue with your first offload.
