Scheduled audits

Updated November 6, 2026Suggest an editView as Markdown

Scheduled audits re-check your cloud copies so a file that changes or disappears in the bucket is caught. A full pass runs weekly by default and spreads evenly across that period, so it never runs as one burst. Files uploaded or edited in the last 7 days are also re-checked daily.

Settings

Open Offloft → Settings → Checks & repair.

  • Full audit schedule. Daily, weekly or monthly, or off.
  • Quiet hours. Choose Quiet from and Quiet until. No audit work is queued in those hours.

Last audit shows when the last pass finished and what it found.

What happens when it finds a problem

An audit raises the same issue as a manual Verify everything. If automatic repair is on, it tries the fix. If alerts are set up, you hear about what needs you.

Audits pause while background tasks aren't running, while it's a quiet hour, and if your license has ended. They resume where they left off.
