Images still load from my server

Updated November 6, 2026Suggest an editView as Markdown

Offloft serves a file from the cloud only once it's verified and the delivery check has passed. So media loading from your server usually means that one of those hasn't happened yet, or a cached page holds old addresses. It isn't a fault: your site is showing the safe copy.

Check these, in order:

  1. The delivery check. Open Settings → Delivery. Offloft serves nothing from the cloud until it passes.
  2. Rewrite media URLs. It must be on, also in Settings → Delivery.
  3. This file's state. Open it under Files. A file that isn't verified loads from your server. See file states.
  4. Your existing library. Files from before setup go up only when you run Offload everything.
  5. Exclusions. Check for excluded items and skipped file types.
  6. Your page cache. Clear it. A cached page keeps the addresses it was saved with.
  7. Saved addresses. If a theme stored a full image address, see replace URLs.
